Lucas and his wife, Danielle, call the mountains of North Carolina home. Lucas holds a BS in Sustainable Development from Appalachian State University, and after graduating he and Danielle worked in direct care for children within the foster care system. Lucas and Danielle have traveled extensively in the US and internationally, and spent most of 2018 overseas. Lucas is an accomplished songwriter, and has released several albums. He is a deep-thinker, a dreamer, and has a weakness for used book stores.
